At this point in time, H.B. 2884 does not specifically mention closing, consolidating or reducing staff at Victory Field in Vernon, TX. Consolidation and relocation of TYC facilities across Texas has been an on-going issue from the very start. This is not a new issue facing Victory Field today. That having been said, continued monitoring of this, and all other TYC issues, is an ongoing process and the best interests of TYC and the Vernon community will continue to be monitored and protected to the greatest extent possible.
